A media and learning ecosystem specialist with over 15 years’ experience as an ‘intrapreneur’ Bhav’s been developing and scaling corporate subsidiary businesses within media giants, Viacom and subsequently Pearson, to reach their commercial potential.
Previously, as CEO of Pearson English, Bhav transformed the business into a coherent integrated portfolio of successful companies through organic growth and strategic acquisition, resulting in a new umbrella brand ‘Pearson English’. Prior to this he spent eight years at Viacom International as Managing Director of Emerging Markets, rapidly scaling Viacom brands from entry level into strong market leading positions in key growth territories including building Viacom 18 (Viacom’s market leading presence in India).
Bhav was nominated to become a Young Global Leader for the World Economic Forum in 2009. He sits on the boards of Hopster, TinyBop, ForthnetNova and Antenna Group. Bhav has an MBA Degree from Manchester University, UK. He currently lives in London, UK.

With over 15 years of diverse experience in the education, digital, technology and consumer goods industries, Abhi has successfully exited multiple digital media and technology ventures and also worked in various roles across operations, business transformation, strategy and P&L management.
In his current role, he also serves as CEO of Curious World and President of FEN Learning and StoryArc Media where he leads the business and creative portfolio of digital assets with a reach of over 20 million kids, their millennial parents and teachers. Previously, he was head of digital at Pearson English and Informal Learning division where he was involved in managing P&L, new product launches and global strategic partnerships.
Abhi sits on the board of TinyBop and several early stage companies. He has an MBA Degree from Manchester University, UK as well as an Engineering Degree from India. He currently lives in London, UK.

As a full-stack Marketing and Product Leader, Mark has a 20+ years experience of delivering double digit growth in education, Edtech and HR tech companies and product lines. An expert at building and leading high-performing teams, market analysis and optimization, product management and go-to-market, Mark has a strong trajectory of building value, especially for start-ups and high growth companies.
Before Sandbox, Mark held key roles at several startups. His most recent startup spun out of MIT with educational mobile games. His other startups were split between B2B and B2C businesses – Ordinate, LRN, Global English, techies, and Relational Courseware – all with a digital learning and human capital focus. Four of these startups were acquired, including two by Pearson. After being acquired, Mark stayed with Pearson where he helped build and lead a new digital-to-consumer English language learning business unit.
Mark has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy both earned at Boston University, MA, USA. He spent 15 years in San Francisco and currently lives in Boston.

With over 18 years of experience in investments, venture capital and corporate finance, May Yee has a special gift of combining financial planning and corporate structuring with creative thinking to help high-growth companies stay-on-course their ambitious path.
In her previous roles as Senior Director at Altus Digital Capital Pte Ltd and Senior AVP at Astro Capital, May Yee advised management teams, and led mergers & acquisition /divestment activities, directed business models and valuation assessments in new and existing investments. On several occasions she’s spearheaded investment in several digital media and edutainment companies in the US and UK as well as drove the public listing effort of Jakarta’s most listened radio station.
May Yee holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, a degree in Financial Accounting from the University of Malaya and a Certificate of Legal Practice from the Malaysian Legal Profession Qualifying Board.

Tan Chin Hwee
A Singaporean businessman and business academic par excellence Chin Hwee is the Chief Executive Officer of Trafigura Pte Ltd in Asia-Pacific and most previously the founding partner for Apollo Global Management in the region. Mentoring for success is his pet passion and he sits as a Board Member of several not-for-profit and for-profit enterprises. He serves on the advisory committee panel for Monetary Authority of Singapore, Maritime Port Authority and the International Olympic Committee.

As an India-based, multi-faceted entrepreneur Chanda’s worked with several start-ups to build commercial infrastructures from the ground up across the Media, Entertainment, Lifestyle and Education sectors in India and the Middle East. After 15 years of working with media agencies, she set-up her first entrepreneurial venture in 2002, an animation production company in Dubai which incubated Arabia’s first-ever & top grossing animated television show Freej, among several others. After successfully exiting her animation company, she set-up India’s first online platform for emerging artists, The Fuschia Tree in 2007. Niall is a serial chair, non-executive, advisor and investor focused on high growth businesses. His current portfolio includes chairing leading digital football media business Copa90 and learning business CharacterScope. He is a non executive director at Fusebox Games and an advisor at racing series Formula E and adtech provider and publisher Glam Inc. Niall concluded a 16 year career with Liberty Global in 2016 in the role of President of Content Investments after leading TV channels business Chellomedia up to its sale in 2014 and holding various board positions in media and network companies.
