As a full-stack Marketing and Product Leader, Mark has a 20+ years experience of delivering double digit growth in education, Edtech and HR tech companies and product lines. An expert at building and leading high-performing teams, market analysis and optimization, product management and go-to-market, Mark has a strong trajectory of building value, especially for start-ups and high growth companies.
Before Sandbox, Mark held key roles at several startups. His most recent startup spun out of MIT with educational mobile games. His other startups were split between B2B and B2C businesses – Ordinate, LRN, Global English, techies, and Relational Courseware – all with a digital learning and human capital focus. Four of these startups were acquired, including two by Pearson. After being acquired, Mark stayed with Pearson where he helped build and lead a new digital-to-consumer English language learning business unit.
Mark has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy both earned at Boston University, MA, USA. He spent 15 years in San Francisco and currently lives in Boston. Linkedin
